I found a great site today - www.makebelievecomix.com. I remember using a cartoon creator when I worked at a middle school, unfortantely we only had one license so therefore it was difficult to allow all students to use it since not all had technology at home and labtime was scarce. With this site students can create stories, autobiographies, diaries, and much more.
Teachers can get great ideas on how to integrate this site into their lessons:
